Here's how we achieve this:

1. AGYW Awareness on Reproductive Health and Services

We focus on increasing knowledge and informed decision-making about sexual and reproductive health among adolescent girls and young women.

• Specialized Sensitization Initiatives: These initiatives provide tailored sensitization for young women aged 15 to 35, specifically targeting those with disabilities, intersex individuals, and those living with HIV. We educate participants on how and where to access inclusive, comprehensive, and quality Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services. Our core objective is to boost their awareness and understanding, empowering them to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.
• "Her Choice": This initiative empowers young women aged 18-21 years with essential knowledge and skills for navigating healthy relationships and making informed decisions about their sexual health. Through interactive forums, we provide accurate information on contraception, reproductive infections (STIs & UTIs), and safe abortion. We also facilitate monthly group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and foster support groups to prioritize their well-being and cultivate fulfilling relationships as they transition into adulthood.
• School Clubs & Holiday Camps: This initiative creates supportive environments in schools and communities where adolescent girls and boys can learn about reproductive health, receive mentorship, and engage in enriching activities. We establish school clubs that integrate reproductive health and mentorship sessions, and hold holiday camps in churches and community halls.

2. AGYW Violence Prevention and Elimination

We aim to remove barriers to public participation for women and girls, and promote their leadership in ending violence against women and girls (VAWG).

• Women Resilience Unveiled: This initiative provides a safe and supportive space for women to openly share their gender-based violence (GBV) stories, experiences, and challenges without fear of judgment or stigma. Through therapeutic platforms, awareness campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and facilitated support groups, we empower women to reclaim their narratives, celebrate their resilience, and support each other in their healing journey.
• Multi-generational Dialogues: Aims to create safe spaces for open discussions on power, privilege, and societal norms, fostering community-wide attitudinal and behavioral change. This initiative emphasizes self-reflection and a commitment to gender equality among boys and young men, recognizing their pivotal role in challenging harmful norms and promoting non-violent masculinity. This initiative extends its impact to families and communities to facilitate the emergence of a social movement that reshapes the environment for girls, challenging and transforming existing societal norms that fuel gender-based violence. Through inter-generational dialogues among men and boys, it actively promotes community-level advocacy for gender equality.
