Leadership, Voice, and Accountability
Empowering Young Women Leaders
This pillar strengthens the leadership capacity of young women, enabling them to participate meaningfully in governance and decision-making. We empower women and girls to demand accountability from institutions and leaders, shaping policies and practices that impact their lives at community, national, and regional levels.
Platforms for Collective Action & Movement-Building
We create platforms that amplify young women’s voices and experiences, promoting collective action for positive change. Through civic hubs and safe spaces, young women receive training, mentorship, and opportunities to organize and lead initiatives in their communities. Our approach nurtures youth-led collectives, builds advocacy skills, and fosters resilient movements that advance gender justice, civic participation, and accountability.
Safe Spaces & Digital Empowerment
In today’s shrinking civic space, both online and offline, we strengthen digital and physical safe spaces to address technologically facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV). These forums provide secure environments for dialogue, support survivor-centered advocacy, and connect community concerns with broader policy frameworks.
Digital empowerment is central to this work. Training on online safety equips young women to navigate hostile digital environments, protect their participation in civic spaces, and advocate for inclusive, rights-based digital governance.
Regional Advocacy & Influence
By linking grassroots realities to regional and continental platforms, we create sustainable pathways for leadership. Young women are supported to engage in regional advocacy, share community perspectives, and influence policy frameworks, ensuring that their voices contribute to lasting social change.
