This pillar strengthens women’s and young women’s knowledge of land rights while promoting climate resilience. We focus on inherited and matrimonial land rights and address the link between land disputes and gender-based violence (GBV).
Under this pillar, we work to eliminate harmful societal norms, support survivors of gender-based violence, and strengthen awareness and access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for adolescent girls and young women (AGYW).
This pillar strengthens the leadership capacity of young women, enabling them to participate meaningfully in governance and decision-making. We empower women and girls to demand accountability from institutions and leaders, shaping policies and practices that impact their lives at community, national, and regional levels.
Husika strengthens the digital and economic power of young women by providing practical skills, including social media marketing, content creation, digital bookkeeping, graphic design, and digital safety. These skills help young women participate online safely, build income streams, and access emerging digital opportunities with confidence.
